Title: Sales Engineer
Job Location : Selangor or JB Area – Malaysia

We are now looking to expand our external sales team throughout Malaysia and seeking to recruit an External Sales Engineer in the Malaysia region to promote our solenoid valve range of products. This position is home-based, reporting directly to the Sales Head. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to call on OEM customers, contractors and end-users in their designated markets and later in some surrounding countries to generate orders for the company. The candidate is required to be focused and must have strong communication skills and an appetite for travelling and winning new orders.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: :

The primary responsibility of this role will be to generate sustainable profitable sales for the client solenoid valve range of products in the designated country or region in that country.
Duties include:
– Searching for new customers, who could benefit from our solenoid valve products in a designated region
– Preparing weekly call plans and then extensive travelling to visit potential clients
– Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
– Recording and maintaining customer contact data
– Making technical presentations to customers to demonstrate how our product will meet their needs
– Solving customer problems and providing solutions from our extensive range of products
– Making quotations for customers with help from internal sales, negotiating, and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
– Meeting sales targets
– Preparing monthly reports for the management
– Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
– Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
– Bringing ideas for the design of bespoke solutions for value added sales
– Identify partnership opportunities and work closely with the Sales Director to develop those partnerships further.

EXPERTISE REQUIRED:

– The ideal candidate will have a science degree or the necessary experience to understand solenoid valves and their applications.
– Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in selling engineered products and solutions into O&G, Petrochemical, Chemical, Pharmaceuticals, Marine and similar markets.
– Experience in selling valve-related products to End-Users and OEMs.
– An ability to work unsupervised for extensive periods and will have experience of working closely with key end users and OEMs with an established network.
– Experience and comfort in preparing and delivering technical and sales presentations to all audiences.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Must be a self-starter who can translate strategic direction into their own tactical action plan and then successfully execute those plans to meet and exceed revenue growth objectives of the company.

Work Location : Vadodara

Job Responsibility :

Work on solenoid assembly & its components design, modelling, drafting, BOM preparation, SAP activities and testing trouble shooting.
1)Understand basic function & configuration rules of all our SOV, Coil and Valve products.
2) Create product string building rules of all our standard catalog products, NCPs, ETOs.
3) Create/Modify Mrktg. & Production codes, Item Code & Drawing Numbers.
4) Search/Create mfg. drawings in PDM, item codes and BOM in ERP etc.
5) Interface with customers/sales for product requirements gathering, requirements compliance report preparation, product specification sheet filling, review GA dwg and seek approval.
6) Perform benchmarking/Reverse Eng., VA/VE activities of Solenoids/Coils independently.
7) Perform product design tasks like concept design, detailed design, modelling/drafting using CAD software (Solidworks preferable), basic engineering calculations, basic structural analysis, tolerance stack-up analysis, apply GD&T, prepare DFMEA, prepare BOM etc independently.
8) Design Solenoids for Form/Fit/Function, Mfg., Assembly, Reliability/Life, Cost, Service, EHS, etc. using DFSS tools with minim supervision.
9) Co-ordinate/perform design verification using Electro-magnetic Force simulation software and/or concept testing. Experience in using ANSYS-Maxwell software is an added advantage.
10) Understand various mfg. processes and the tolerances, surface roughness/finishes that could be achieved using those processes and create mfg. drawings based on it independently.
11) Conduct design reviews (DFx review) of new parts/solenoids with cross-functional team or suppliers and optimize the design based on their feedback independently.
12) Prepare design documents required for various product certification with minimum guidance.
13) Write test procedures, co-ordinate product (solenoid valves) assembly and testing activities, as required with minimum supervision.
14) Be the SPOC for all design activities of NPD/NCP Solenoids and provide status
updates/clarifications to PM/HOD/CFT members on regular basis.
15) Resolve supplier / production / design validation / customer problems using 8D process (RCA and CAPA) and implement design changes thru ECRN process with minimum supervision.
16) Maintain project folder as per applicable QMS system – ISO/AS/IATF and face internal and external audits with minimum guidance.
17) Prioritize, balance and manage multiple tasks with sense of urgency in changing environment.
18) Train GETs and Design Engineers on product design and development activities.
19) Learn about electronics used in the product from SMEs and support trouble shoot problems.

Experience required : Should have PLC programming experience and know about pneumatics.
Industry, if any specific requirement : specifically valve industry, design, industrial automation, industrial equipment’s/machinery construction equipment, industrial equipment’s/machinery machine tools

Software Skills : PLC & HMI Programming , AutoCAD
QMS requirements : Basic IATF16949

Process Knowledge : Panel wiring, instruments functioning and machine building.
Soft Skills : Good communication and presentation skill


CTC : Full Time, Permanent and On roll Job, As Per Industry Norms, has to work in two shifts – first and second

Work Location : Vadodara

Job Responsibility :

1. Maintain machine & machine capabilities. plc programming of overall machine from scratch to handover for min 5 to 10 machine
2. Continuous improvement in machines & working area. panel wiring – practical experience and knowledge
3. To give training to maintenance team members regarding maintenance jobs & upgrade
skill & attitude & knowledge.
4. To keep consumable machines spares ready in stock.
5. Preventive maintenance schedule for each machine. update and maintain the records
6. Breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment’s. update and maintain the
records
7. Machine history for fault diagnosis & machine behaviour study.
8. Maintain 5s in shop floor & maintain area.
9. To monitor Maintenance dept. KPIs performance.
10. Predictive maintenance schedule for each machine. update and maintain the records
11. Review & update all documents of maintenance every six months.
12. To build, install and commission the machines
13. To design controls / poke yokes and its implementation
14. To modify the machine if required based on CFT recommendations
15. Train internal employees on technical skills trouble shootings and problem solving’s
16. New equipment development responsibility.
17. To emphasize on IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 14001 , OHSAS 18001 and VDA 6.3 system
implementation
